Our Philosophy

Our aim is to make ballet apparel and dancewear more affordable and accessible for the many families who are in it for the fun of it and who do not want to spend a fortune on dancewear.

Privacy

Maintaining the privacy of our customers is important to us. All information collected via this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be reused, disclosed, loaned or sold. Any information provided will be held with care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us.

Payment

At this stage, BalletStuff receives online payments via Paypal, credit card or direct deposit. If you use direct deposit into our bank account please select this option at checkout and our bank account details will be emailed to you, and your items will be posted once funds clear

Australian Delivery

We use a combination of Australia Post pre-paid satchels and tough bags, please refer to our delivery page for further information on costs and times. If you would like to add Express Post please choose this option at checkout prior to 2pm and it will be posted same day, otherwise any Express Post orders after 2pm will be posted next business day.

Overseas Delivery

We can airmail orders overseas, please simply choose the International Airmail option at checkout. Please note that due to the prohibitive cost of international post we do not offer an exchange or refund service for our international customers, so please choose sizes carefully.

Returns and Refunds

BalletStuff will happily exchange or refund your dancewear item if it is returned within 14 days from the delivery date in an unworn new condition in it’s original packaging. When trying your shoes please refrain from pulling or tightening the front elastics on ballet shoes, or dirtying the soles of the shoes, as we are unable to refund or exchange the shoes once you have done this. If you would like an exchange or refund there is a postage fee of $5.60 you will need to include with your returned item or you can supply us with a prepaid postal bag. Unfortunately we cannot exchange or refund for tights or socks, due to health regulations.

We would ask that you please check sizes before an order is placed. Please refer to our Size Charts page before placing an order, and for all shoe orders measure your child's foot prior to selecting a size. If you are unsure which size to order, email us and we will help you.

DVDs

If you would like to order ballet, jazz, hip hop or any other dance DVD’s via the BalletStuff website, we have a link to a company based in the USA called Active Videos. We recommend you only order DVD’s in a format that suits R4 (Australia and New Zealand) or All Region. However before you order, you need to confirm that you own a multi-zoned DVD player and your television accepts NTSC format. The easiest way to do this is to call the customer service centre for your equipment and confirm with them before you buy a DVD. Balletstuff.com.au does not take responsibility for format compatibility between your equipment and the DVD purchased. Most newer televisions and DVD players will be compatible, for example my television is more than 5 years old and my DVD player is 2 years old and I can play the DVD’s.

Yes! We Post Gifts

Our ballet or ballerina packages are a popular choice for people wanting to send a birthday or Christmas present. We can post a dancewear gift on behalf of Australian residents or overseas customers. Please remember to confirm the child's foot size measured in centremetres if ordering ballet or jazz shoes as we do not stock standard shoe sizes. We include a BalletStuff postcard, just let us know in the comments section at checkout if you would like a message included on the postcard.

GST (Goods & Services Tax)

Our products and services attract a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10% and this is included in the price you see on the website.

Currency

All prices on balletstuff.com.au are listed in Australian dollars (AUD).

Product Quality

BalletStuff aims to provide premium quality dancewear and ballet products at a reasonable cost. We believe we offer some of the best value dancewear products for children, without compromising on quality. Products on our website may change without notice, due to manufacturer’s production techniques. These changes, regardless how small, are beyond our control.
